Line Interactive - Sine Wave



The LINE INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY with sinusoidal waveform output, provides excellent protection to all computer loads and to the utilities which feature a switching power supply input. However, it can safely feed also more “demanding” loads such as transformers, motors, pumps etc. where the switching time between the main supply and the inverter must not affect the operation load. Compared to the STEP-WAVE models, the sinusoidal waveform creates less noise, and it is more indicated to feed delicate and sophisticated equipment.

HOW DOES A LINE INTERACTIVE UPS WORKS?



Even in this case, in main mode, the UPS with sinusoidal line interactive technology, feeds the load through the power supply network by filtering it in advance and stabilizing it thanks to an AVR (stabilizer electronic “automatic voltage regulator). At the same time it charges the batteries and keeps them efficient. If the supply voltage is too low, too high or is missing, the UPS feeds the load through an inverter which takes energy from the batteries. Output waveform will be SINE-WAVE.

Dimensions and weight of these models are kept as lower as possible considering the bigger number of batteries and consequently the longer autonomy. Being designed for the IT market, the communication perofrmance of this UPS must be at the top. There are available a wide range of hardware and software solutions to interface all operating systems or to achieve the redundancy of the power supply.

The machine works plug&play on WINDOWS systems and on NAS. There are also other software solutions available to interface all operating systems on different levels, even the more complex and virtualized. (WMWare etc..)
